When you have limited holding slots and the colour blocks you need to erase are buried under others, what can you do? Ant Flow is a colour-matching logic puzzle game with a twist: every choice of ant box affects your next move, making it a unique challenge in the genre. The game turns straightforward sorting into a battle of minds that calls for careful calculation.
Initially, the screen shows a pixel-art image created with different colour blocks, and there are boxes of ants with specific numbers. Your main goal is to get the whole picture cleared.
The biggest problem is the limit of five slots. When all 5 positions are occupied by ant groups that cannot yet reach the corresponding colour blocks, the tray is blocked, and the level ends.
As you progress, the stages introduce new mechanics that put your calculation skills to the test:

Take a good look at the colour blocks shown on the surface of the image before you choose a box. Don’t waste space by moving groups to the tray unless they can clear blocks immediately. It is preferable to leave at least one slot free as a safety buffer. Make sure you tick the boxes that are higher up in the queue, so that you’re actively preparing the next steps in the puzzle.
As you progress through the levels, you will need help from special tools. When you’re short on space, the “Extra Slot” item can provide a valuable additional storehouse. Aids like Shuffle, Pick Up, or Tornado can save you from dead-end situations. Once you have the order of untangling the lines, press the 2x speed button to make the ants move faster.
Ant Flow’s mix of relaxing gameplay with strategic thinking makes it a standout in the pixel puzzle genre. Give it a shot, see how many complicated patterns you can clear!
